Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to attend the CSPM 2021 Virtual Scientific Session on Wednesday, October 27, 2021! Part of our mission is to promote excellence in education and research in female pelvic medicine. Until we can meet again in person for a full-fledged Annual Meeting, we felt it was important to still provide a venue for sharing, digesting, and discussing the latest science in the field. With that goal in mind, we’ve put together this year’s Virtual Scientific Session. From OASI and post pelvic floor surgery urinary retention, to group physiotherapy for urinary incontinence, to surgical sexism in Canada, we’ll be covering a wide range of topics from multiple perspectives. Whether you are a physician, fellow, physiotherapist, or allied health professional, if you are working with women with pelvic floor disorders in Canada, this meeting is for YOU!

Your time is valuable, so we have purposely made this session short in duration and easy to access. The virtual nature allows you to attend from anywhere, without the hassle of travel or time away from work and family. It is the perfect opportunity to get updates in the field, and it’s free!

Immediately following the Virtual Scientific Session, we invite all CSPM members to stay with us for our Annual Members’ Meeting. We’ll be updating you on all the work CSPM committees have engaged in during the past year to benefit members, promote research, and further establish the subspecialty of urogynecology in Canada. We’ll also be presenting the slate of nominees for our open board positions in preparation for our elections in November. This is your society, so be sure to attend and be in the know!

We look forward to “seeing” you on October 27. Register today to receive your access link!

Sincerely,

 McDermott
