Get to know the Fellows training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at programs across Canada this year

This academic year, Fellows in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) are training at programs from Vancouver to Montréal. During fellowship, they build the surgical expertise, research skills and clinical judgment that will shape pelvic health care in Canada for decades to come.

Many are already contributing to CSPM. Dr. Alexa Higginbotham and Dr. Danielle Chang, both at the University of Calgary, represent their peers on the Fellowship Education Committee as Senior and Junior Fellow Representatives.

Our Thanks

Our thanks to the Program Directors and faculty who train and mentor these Fellows, and to Dr. Alexa Higginbotham for helping us connect with this year’s cohort. Residents considering a career in urogynecology can hear directly from current Fellows at CSPM’s Fellowship Information Night; watch the newsletter for the next date. Please join us in wishing them a rewarding year.
