The CSPM Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) recognizes one meritorious resident from each Canadian Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
The successful candidate has completed a program-mandated clinical rotation or equivalent in urogynecology and has demonstrated superior evidence-based knowledge, procedural skills, and a desire to pursue subspecialty training in FPMRS.
Nomination Process (updated):
Program Directors may nominate one resident per year. There is no CSPM membership requirement for nominees.
The Award includes a certificate of recognition and a one-year CSPM membership. Recipients will be honored at the CSPM Awards Ceremony during the annual scientific meeting.
How to Nominate (for Program Directors):
Please submit a brief nomination email to info@canadiansocietyforpelvicmedicine.org including:
- Nominee contact information (name, email, phone)
- Program Director contact information (name, email, phone)
- Brief confirmation (3-4 sentences) that the nominee:
- Completed the program's urogynecology rotation (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated superior clinical knowledge and procedural skills
- Shows strong interest in pursuing FPMRS subspecialty training
Note: Selected awardees will be contacted directly to provide their CV and brief bio for use at the Awards Ceremony.
