The Canadian Society for Pelvic Medicine (CSPM) is excited to be accepting submissions of Abstracts for the 7th CSPM Annual Meeting (May 1–3, 2026, Ottawa).
How to submit an abstract (regular or video): Email a written abstract (Word document) by January 14, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (ET) to info@canadiansocietyforpelvicmedicine.org
Abstract requirements (applies to all submissions):
- Language: English or French
- Length: ≤ 350 words (title excluded)
Include:
- Title
- Names of authors and their affiliations
- Introduction
- Objective
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- A maximum of 3 references may be included and are not included in the word limit
- One figure or table may be included, but should not exceed ½ page
Abstracts will be considered for research that:
- Will be submitted for publication,
- Is currently being considered for publication,
- Has been published in the last year (since January 2025).
A member of the CSPM Scientific Committee will notify you of the outcome of your submission within four weeks.

Additional instructions for video presenters
If your abstract describes a video presentation, submit the written abstract now (as above). If your abstract is accepted, you will be asked to submit a video that meets all the criteria below:
- Maximum duration: 7 minutes
- Maximum file size: 2.0 GB
- Acceptable formats: .avi, .mov, .mpg, .mp4
- Audio: Include clear English or French captions or narration
- Sound quality: Avoid loud or distracting background noise/music
- Ensure patient anonymity and integrity at all times
Video submission deadline (upon acceptance): Email the video file (or a reliable download link) to info@canadiansocietyforpelvicmedicine.org by March 15, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (ET).
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in withdrawal of your abstract and/or presentation.
