Member Categories
Membership to the Canadian Society for Pelvic Medicine is open to health care workers residing in Canada, who have an interest in Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, focusing on women.
Physician Membership
- Physician Membership is open to any MD (or equivalent).
Non-Physician Membership
- Non-Physician Membership is open to any (PhD, Physiotherapist, Sex Therapist, Nurse or other allied health professionals).
In Training Membership
- Residents or Training Fellows enrolled in a school of medicine or graduate training program related to Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
- In Training Membership is also open to graduate students enrolled in MSc, PhD, and Post-Doc degree programs.*
*Verification of your student/resident/fellow status in the form of a letter from your institution/program director is required upon application to the Canadian Society for Pelvic Medicine and shall be provided on letterhead/stationary of your institution to be considered for membership under this category.
Student Membership
- Students enrolled in an accredited program for medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, research, or other field related to the practice of Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
- Must provide proof of enrollment from institution.*
*Verification of your student/resident/fellow status in the form of a letter from your institution/program director is required upon application to the Canadian Society for Pelvic Medicine and shall be provided on letterhead/stationary of your institution to be considered for membership under this category.
Life Membership
- Members in good standing who, after 5 years of regular membership, upon reaching the age of 65 or who withdraw from professional activity, may request Lifetime Membership via written request and approval of the Board of Directors.
